Australian Institute of Architects, ‘2019 Country Division Conference’

This year’s NSW Country Division Regional Conference, ‘Always Was, Always Will Be’ was attended by Gioia. It was held in Byron Bay over three days in early October. The conference delved into understanding Country, reconciliation with our First Peoples and how we can make our architecture better, more meaningful and connected when analysing a site and interpreting place. The conference culminated in an awards night that celebrated regional architectural excellence.
