A balance of traditional aesthetics with modern livability

Set within the rural landscape of Brucedale, this new family home is designed to be spacious, comfortable, and functional. The brief called for a residence that balances traditional aesthetics with modern livability.

The exterior features a timeless design that sits harmoniously within its surroundings, with rendered brick veneer walls, pitched rooflines, and large windows that invite natural light. Positioned along an east-west axis, the home maximizes its northern orientation to enhance comfort and energy efficiency.

Inside, a contemporary style is achieved through an open-plan layout, a neutral color palette, and sleek fittings and fixtures.

Built by Ted van Lierop, this project reflects quality craftsmanship. Special thanks to Grant Higginson from Cut Above Production for the photography.
