Lewisham Ave, Wagga Wagga – Additions and Alterations

From our first meeting with the client, our task at hand was clear…to completely transform a ‘fixer upperer’ into a home that will be something quite special with understated elegance and charm. When the client finally found an older property with great bones in a sought after location she knew she had to buy it and give the tired, old place a new lease on life.  Aspirational projects like these are the type of projects we especially love. There is nothing more exciting than when client, architect, consultants, builder and trades share the same vision and enthusiastically strip back a structure to bare bones and create something entirely new. This brief is all about ticking off wish list items and realising potential. Very careful consideration has been given to liveability and just as importantly the aesthetic appeal.

Our client, has engaged the services of the very talented Sydney based interior designer, Greta Unkuri of GU Interiors to collaborate with us to develop a palette which could be best described as a fresh, breezy, coastal modern. The look will be a blend of Queenslander and Hamptons, with lots of white, soft greys and timber. There’s definitely an emphasis on living areas being as comfortable as possible and making the home feel like a retreat. Think of open spaces with lots of light and air with an effortless flow between the indoors and outdoors. It will be the kind of place where you feel comfortable to just pad around barefoot and be care free. This property promises to be stylish and highly liveable, we are just as excited as the client to see the transformation in the coming months. Stay tuned for updates!
