This contemporary family house on Plumpton Road, Springvale is nearing completion. Some of the architectural features include cantilevered floor slabs, feature blockwork, standing seam metal cladding and wide timber lined eaves. The house also integrates an outdoor entertaining area with swimming pool and spa. The exterior and interior colour scheme is monochromic, consisting of white, black and greys. The landscape design will heavily feature low use plantings with expanses of paving to reduce maintenance.

The house incoporates passive and active environmentally sustainable systems such as north facing living areas and large bays of double glazed windows, 1.5m eave overhangs, sun shading devices and hydronic heating. The design also incorporates a solar panel system with battery storage.
