Tenefts St, Temora – New Build

Located in the Temora Aviation Estate we are excited to see this house, which was designed with a strong emphasis on active and passive environmentally sustainable principles, finally come into fruition. Construction is well under way! Thoughtfully designed to have a quite limited building footprint despite a very generous block size, the client wanted the house to consist of two storeys to maximise living space, capitalise on sweeping rural views, and to honour his eco-conscience way of life. Our client has various creative pursuits, so naturally it made perfect sense to include a studio which spans the entire upper floor and opens out onto a long, wide and very spacious verandah. This home is sure to inspire our client and become the place where ideas manifest and awesome projects come to life!

The home was intentionally oriented to the north, with the studio, verandah and ground floor living areas inviting glorious rays of sunshine, to enhance lightness and brightness, as well as to capture fresh breezes when the doors and windows are open.  At the same time, to minimise excessive heat and exposure, we have carefully designed the north, to have wide overhanging eaves and shade blinds, again to enhance comfort and liveability. We have no doubt this home is going to become a beautiful retreat for our client, it will become a place to relax, reflect and also inspire and create.
