We partnered with Wagga Wagga Christian College and Mark G Golden & Associates to develop the next phase of the school’s master plan—a two-storey middle school building designed for flexible and dynamic learning.

The project includes eight general learning areas, four shared spaces, staff facilities, and accessible amenities. A key feature is the adjacent urban square, which provides access to the first floor and creates 'cluster' spaces that promote student interaction while connecting the junior and middle schools.

Inside, the layout supports different learning styles with built-in seating, reading nooks, and custom storage. Folding doors add flexibility, allowing spaces to be open or divided as needed.

Architectural details enhance both function and aesthetics. Perforated metal balustrades improve safety while contributing to the building’s modern look. Thoughtful design ensures a visually cohesive and engaging learning environment.

Built with expertise by Joss Group, this project reflects a commitment to innovative educational design, enriching student learning and strengthening the school’s campus.

“Congratulations on another wonderful project at WWCC! I love the new classroom block – the spaces that you have created have a ‘homely’, comfortable feel to them which welcomes the visitor.
There is a sense of space but still intimacy in the spaces as well as a good sense of light in each room...Once the landscaping is complete it will be another asset for not only break time and outdoor learning but also for community events.
I think the building ties in so sympathetically with the library building and Junior School and the fact it is hidden behind the existing quad buildings maintains the spacious, uncrowded feel of the College campus. Well done to you both and the team for your efforts! ” - Heidi Combes
