2026 NSW National Trust Heritage Interviews Gioia Gianniotis

The National Trust Australia (NSW) recently spoke with GPG Architecture’s Principal Architect, Gioia Gianniotis about the story behind the award-winning redevelopment of the Coolamon Hotel.

In Heart of the town: the Coolamon Hotel redevelopment, Gioia reflects on the five-year journey to bring this much-loved country pub back to life, balancing the restoration of an important heritage building with its role at the heart of the Coolamon community.

The project was awarded the President’s Prize at the 2026 National Trust (NSW) Heritage Awards.
