Deltroit Homestead – Additions & Alterations
Completed by Ladex Construction Group just before Easter was the restoration of an historic grand homestead located on Deltroit Station near Adelong. The most important considerations of this projects was to ensure that the alterations and additions were sympathetic to the magnificent original homestead built in 1903, and also that the project be completed in time for the Prince of Wales visit prior to his opening of the Commonwealth Games. The project kept all original features of the homestead intact and focused on upgrading the part of the house that was previously renovated in the early 2000s. The additional areas include a large lobby, mud and cloak room, orangery, large family room and commercial grade kitchen. The project also includes a free standing recreational pavilion, which boosts living quarters, gym, sauna and steam room.
We worked alongside a London based architectural firm, Our Place and a range of consultants and trades on this project.
