Lewisham Ave Additions & Alterations

In a sought after location in Wagga Wagga’s prominent medical precinct, a 1940’s double brick stucco rendered house was in need of a new lease on life. The aim was to completely transform the home into something with understated elegance and charm that carefully considers liveability as well as aesthetic appeal. Local builder Balding Constructions has been appointed to undertake the works for this renovation project. The existing floor plan of the house was reconfigured along with a new garage  to increase usable space and functionality. We worked cohesively with Sydney based interior designer Greta Unkuri to create a colour and design scheme that introduced white, soft grey and timber hues for a fresh costal Queenslander/Hamptons style home.

Emphasis was placed on the living areas bringing as much natural light in and flow between the indoors and outdoors. To enhance the comfort and retreat like atmosphere that comes with open plan living the laundry and mudroom will be relocated towards the back of the house.  The kitchen and dining areas are to be extended and brought closer together offering flexible places to dine and entertain. The orientation of the living area will be to the north to capture beautiful sunlight all year round.
